1. Contest Period:
The Sony EarthPLAY for Earth Day Contest 2018 runs until June 29, 2018. Submissions must be received by June 29, 2018.
2. Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a K-8 school located in Canada.
3. Participation Criteria:
- School must hold an outdoor extra or extended recess that includes loose parts, retro games, or games, toys, and equipment brought by students; or an Adventure Play Day that includes loose parts.
- Contest submissions must be submitted by a school employee with the approval of the school’s principal.
4. To Participate:
- To participate in the Sony EarthPLAY for Earth Day Contest 2018, host your EarthPLAY event on or before June 29, 2018.
- Send us a photo or video (2 minutes or less), Photograph/Video Release Form for each student that appears in your photo or video, and testimonial of your EarthPLAY school event by June 29, 2018.
There are (6) six prizes. The winners will each receive (1) one Sony Action Camera.
6. Decision Date:
The (6) six winning schools will be chosen by random draw the week of July 2 – 6, 2018, and notified by email the week of July 9 – 13, 2018.
7. General Rules:
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to abide by these Contest Rules and Regulations and the decisions of Earth Day Canada, which are final. All participants release and forever discharge Earth Day Canada, their advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective affiliated companies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from all claims, demands, damages, actions and cases of action arising or to arise by reason of their participation in the Contest and/or the administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, the selection and awarding of prizes. Earth Day Canada shall in no way bear any liability whatsoever regarding any of the submissions/prizes. In no event shall Earth Day Canada be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with this Contest and/or the Prizes, however arising, including negligence.
Earth Day Canada is not responsible for miscommunications, failed computer transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspects of this Contest, as determined by Earth Day Canada will be disqualified.
By participating in this Contest, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of information about you and your school by Earth Day Canada for the purpose of administering this Contest.
