Dear Earth Day Canada friends,

Deb Doncaster, President,Earth Day Canada

Deb Doncaster, President,
Earth Day Canada

2015 marks the mid-point of the ‘critical decade’. How we live and the decisions we make over the next five years will have a dramatic impact on our future.

Next week, on April 22nd - Earth Day - our organization will celebrate our 25th anniversary with the launch of Earth Day Every Day, a new five year campaign that provides tools and incentives for you to take action and lessen your environmental footprint. We're busy, and we're excited!

I invite and encourage you to participate in Earth Day Every Day, and use the mobile-friendly online tool to make a 20% reduction in your carbon footprint by 2020. Next week, we're launching with twenty-five ways to reduce the carbon impact of your daily trips, and we will continue to add ways in which we can make collective environmental impact throughout the campaign.

Sign up for Earth Day Every Day and you'll also have the option to submit your name for an Earth Flag that will be taken to the international climate conference in Paris at the end of the year. The Earth Flag will illustrate the collective resolve of people across the country to reduce climate impacts.

Thank you for supporting Earth Day, and joining six million people across the county who celebrate on April 22nd through environmental action. We're proud and grateful to be part of your Earth Day celebrations!

President, Earth Day Canada
