EarthPLAY is Earth Day Canada’s new program to protect and create outdoor play opportunities for children across Canada. EarthPLAY works with schools, parents, recreation centres and community groups to integrate unstructured, outdoor free play into the day-to-day lives of children ages 5 to 15. Logo Usage and Standards

The Earth Day Canada logo is a symbol of our organization, reflecting our strength, vision and values. EDC has trademarked the term “Earth Day” in Canada and only allows it to be used in association with environmentally sound endeavours, as approved by our organization. The trademark “Earth Day” cannot be used for commercial gain, but is free to use for individuals, schools, community groups and non-profits.

If you wish to use our logo in order to promote an Earth Day event, environmental initiative or similar endeavour, please contact our Director of Communications, Vanessa Farquharson, to request permission: vanessa@earthday.ca.

Once you’ve received written permission to use the EDC logo, please consult our Style Guide, below, to assist you in the consistent usage of the logo for print and web applications.
