Instagram and Facebook Contest Rules – Tickets for Espace pour la Vie Museums

1- ORGANIZER
The contest is organized by Earth Day Canada, located at 5818 Boul. Saint-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2T 1T3, hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer,” and is held exclusively on the Instagram and Facebook accounts of Earth Day Canada (Instagram: @earthday.ca, Facebook: @earthday.ca) and Jour de la Terre Canada (Instagram: @jourdelaterreca, Facebook: @JourdelaterreCA).

2- CONTEST PERIOD
The contest runs from April 7, 2025, at the time of the social media posts, to April 21, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time).

3- HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate, entrants must:

• Be following the Instagram and/or Facebook accounts of Earth Day Canada or Jour de la Terre Canada.
• Comment on the official contest post stating what action they are taking or would like to take to protect biodiversity.
• One comment (on Instagram or Facebook) will give one entry. Multiple comments can be posted by the same entrant.

4- PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• The contest is open to all individuals residing in Canada who are 18 years of age or older.
• Each entrant can win only one prize, whether they participate on Facebook or Instagram.
• Entrants must meet the conditions outlined above to be eligible.

5- PRIZES

• Six (6) tickets to one of the Espace pour la vie museums (Biodôme, Biosphère, Botanical Garden, Insectarium, or Montreal Planetarium) will be awarded to three (3) winners on Instagram, two (2) tickets per winner. Each winner can choose the museum of their choice.
• Four (4) tickets to one of the Espace pour la vie museums (Biodôme, Biosphère, Botanical Garden, Insectarium, or Montreal Planetarium) will be awarded to two (2) winners on Facebook, two (2) tickets per winner. Each winner can choose the museum of their choice.

6- SELECTION OF WINNERS
Winners will be randomly selected from participants who meet the entry criteria on Instagram and/or Facebook.

• The draw will take place on April 22, 2025.
• Winners will be contacted directly via private message on the platform where they entered (Instagram or Facebook). If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of the message, a new winner will be selected.

7- PRIZE DELIVERY
The tickets will be sent in the form of electronic codes to each winner, which can be used to book their visit.

8- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Organizer disclaims any responsibility for any technical issues or other incidents that may arise during the contest. The Organizer also reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if necessary.

9- ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
By participating in the contest, each participant fully and unconditionally accepts these rules.

10- PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The information collected in connection with the contest will be used only for contest management purposes. Participants’ personal data will not be shared with third parties without their prior consent, in accordance with the Organizer’s privacy policy.

11- APPLICABLE LAWS
The contest is governed by the laws in effect in Canada.
