Take Part In An Ecohack-A-City Training Session
Earth Day Canada wants to facilitate the creation of a network of Changemakers, equip them with the tools they need to be innovators and solve environmental challenges faced by municipalities. That’s the purpose of EcoHack-a-City training!

By participating in this online training program, you will:
- Enhance your problem-solving and leadership skills while working as a team with other regional stakeholders;
- Expand and diversify your environmental networks both regionally and nationally;
- Contribute to the resolution of real environmental issues experienced by cities through a collaborative, creative process;
- Share your team’s solution with a panel of regional experts to further develop the concept;
This training is designed for
Project leads and program managers from municipalities, businesses, and non-governmental organizations seeking to become better equipped to achieve their environmental objectives and bring more creativity and effectiveness to their problem-solving processes.

The EcoHack-a-city training program includes:
- Week 1: attending the EcoHack-a-City public panel event to discover the theme of the training and its challenges (1,5 hour)
- Week 2-4: a “learning-by-doing” training of 7.5 hours over 3 weeks (2.5 hours each week)
- Week 5: team presentations to regional panel for further development of solutions (1 hour)
At the end of the EcoHack-a-city training
You will be able to join an online Canada-wide Changemakers networking community that will bring together all participants of the various regional EcoHack-a-City training sessions from this edition and past editions too. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion for participating in the 10-Hour Changemaker program.
