What is the Montreal Zero Waste Festival?

The Montreal Zero Waste Festival has reached its 2nd edition. It’s a must for anyone who wants to reduce their waste by taking simple, sustainable actions to protect our planet! Taking part in this celebratory gathering means attending conferences and meeting retailers and exhibitors who will help you realize that everyone can contribute to a better world—one change at a time! The Fonds Éco IGA is a proud partner of the festival.

Panel: Companies leading change

NOVEMBER 4 - 3:00 TO 4:00 P.M.

Alongside Aurore Courtieux-Boinot, Project Manager for the deposit-refund program La Tasse Lann Déry, Co-Owner of the zero-waste pub La Cale, and Vincent Dessureault and Dorian Zéphir from the zero-waste coffee shop Café le 5e, Julie Lafortune, Director of Earth Day, will discuss the waste management initiatives that Earth Day has put in place at IGA grocery stores.

Workshop: Food Fight

NOVEMBER 4 - 11:00 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M.

A very special version of the Food Fight workshops will be held in the kitchen of the Montreal Zero Waste Festival. The nutritionist Édith Ouellet and project manager Isabelle Aubut from Earth Day will share recipes and tips that can help you use the leftovers in your fridge to their full potential!

Come meet Earth Day's team of waste management experts for the Fonds Éco IGA. They'll be teaching what they know best: how organizations can reduce and recover waste. Who knows—they might have some tips you can try out at home too!
