In the last decade, urban gardening brought back a desire for nature connection and protection for the environment to Katherine, who had grown up exploring fields and wading in streams. As an urbanite, she is thrilled to see new green roofs and walls being built and find hidden corners where nature flourishes. She is also keen to share her joy of the Canadian four seasons with all who know her.
