As I came to grips with the problem of food waste, I started including more anti-waste actions in my everyday life until I could no longer remember how I used to do things before! I want to share the 5 most beneficial anti-waste tricks I’ve learned, which I plan to continue using forever.
Most of the time, fruits and veggies go bad for one of two main reasons. They either get mouldy or wilt. Here are a few tricks to try once you’ve figured out what went wrong with your last batch of fruits and veggies.
Try Frida’s dip variations to help you get more vegetable protein in your diet: traditional hummus, baba ganoush and roasted bell pepper spread. These classics are prepared by collecting pieces of vegetables from the fridge. All served with homemade onion flatbread – tender, warm, and just right for a cozy day at home… Mmm!
